Privacy Policy

Prometheus Intelligence Technology ™ ("PIT"), is a technology that helps marketing clients ("Client(s)") to more effectively recognize a computer, or other internet enabled device, maintain state on such devices, build personas, and provide relevant digital advertising. This Privacy Policy describes what kind of data PIT may collect, how that data is used, and what limits are placed on that data’s transfer.

Data Collected

PIT may collect limited personally identifiable information ("PII") from visitors to websites that utilize PIT such as email addresses, names, phone numbers, mailing addresses if you provide such PII directly to Clients on their websites. This information is not sold to third parties, but is used by PIT for device correlation and similar purposes, and may be shared with third parties for limited purposes such as enriching or verifying data on behalf of the Client and at the Client’s direction. PIT is not designed to gather sensitive PII such as social security numbers, credit cards or financial information. Please refer to the Client’s website and privacy policy for information about what PII may be collected by the Client and how it may be used.

PIT also collects non-personally identifiable information ("Non-PII") when you visit a website with PIT, such as the name of your internet service provider, the IP address of the computer or device you are using, the type of browser and operating system that you use, the date and time you access the website, the website referrer address and other log file information. PIT is a "cookie" that tracks the actions of visitors to websites.

Data Uses

Data collected by PIT may be used for a variety of purposes including digital marketing purposes which include, but are not limited to, delivering relevant content and ads to you based on what kind of browsing device you use, your IP address, your web-browsing patterns, your geographic locations, and impersonal demographic data. PIN may share collected data with Clients to help Clients make informed decisions about whether to provide and how to provide relevant ads. Data collected by PIT also help measure the efficacy of ads. Data collected by PIT may be use to uniquely identify or correlate patterns among your browsing devices. If you have provided PII directly to PIT or a Client, data collected by PIT may be correlated with such PII.

Data Sharing

PIT data will never be sold or leased to any non-Client third party, unless PIT is sold assigned, or licensed as part of a transaction, in which case collected data will may be transferred to the purchaser, assignee, or licensee as a part of that transaction. Except to vendors as described below, as required to do so by legal process or law, when necessary to protect personal safety of PIT users or the public, or under exigent legal circumstances, data collected by PIT will not be shared with or transferred to a non-Client third party.

Data collected by PIT may be shared with non-Client third party vendors, such as Google Analytics, that provide advertising or analytic services to Clients. Such third parties may retain and use provided data according to their own privacy policies and procedures.

Children

PIT and this website are not directed toward or intended to collect data from children under 13. Those under the age of 13 should not engage with this website or any Client website that uses PIT without the permission of a parent or guardian.

Security

Data collected by PIT is secured using industry-standard safeguards and practices.

Changes

This privacy policy may be changed at any time. If such a change is made, a new policy will be posted here with a date, and a notice will be placed on the PIT home page.
